Staff Profile #16 - Bardha

Hello, everyone!

Have you ever wanted ideas to come to you without much effort?
💡 That everything that comes to mind seems possible to you. When things that seem impassable to others seem to you as an opportunity to prove that everything is achievable and there is no barrier that women cannot break?! ♀️ I know, very difficult to believe, but you will when you read this article, that there is one person that can do these all, and her name is Bardha Uka.

Bardha has been supporting the Peda team for a year and a half now, among others by delivering Peda content for the children, youth, coaches, and teachers. No wonder that you might have met her already, and you have had the opportunity to receive training from her.

When we asked her what she thinks about PLAY, Bardha said:

What I love the most about PLAY is the uplifting energy and the positive values we share every day as a team. Being able to educate young generations through Physical Activity and Sports on different Human Rights, such as gender equality, inclusion, discrimination, and so on, is truly important for the society we live in, and as such it is an amazing opportunity for me. PLAY activities have a great impact on everyone who is involved, and they are always super attractive and fun.

Fun fact to go: Underwater world is her happy place as a long-time swimmer 🏊‍♀️, however she fears the seagrass, and she always skips swimming in those places. What she doesn't fear is the cold temperature of the water. This year she has started swimming outdoor in cold waters, and she enjoys inviting other people to join her for a night swim as well.

We all love Bardha at PLAY! Help us show our appreciation of her work by liking this post!
