Certification Ceremony: Head of Mission's inspiring speech

On the 12th of March, Sara Kalvachova, PLAY International Kosovo Head of mission, delivered an inspiring speech during the certification ceremony at the Fakulteti i Edukimit Fizik dhe i Sportit for the first 2 cohorts of students part of the 2019/2020 PLAY Internship Course:

"Dear students, 

It is an honor and pleasure to be here with you today and to see so many positive faces. 

We are here to celebrate students’ successful completion of Internship Course organized by Faculty of Sports and PLAY International. This course is a part of EJO project aiming to provide an active and inclusive education.   

For the Faculty, students, and PLAY, this is a great opportunity to contribute to quality education in Kosovo and to challenge stereotypes and prejudice with an ultimate goal of better inclusion of all children no matter of their background.   

After successfully finishing the accredited course by Ministry of Education and Science, we hope that you will use all these skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm that you gained during the course in your future careers. And of course, we hope that you will continue being PLAYers in our upcoming projects. 

One more time big thank you to all students for your motivation, commitment, and hard work. Last but not least, thank you Mr. Selimi, Miftari and Berisha. This cooperation would not be possible without your effort and willingness and we sincerely hope to continue empowering more students together."

  Staff profile #33                                               Introducing our new Project Coordinator, Bleta! Born and raised in Prishtina, Kosovo. Bleta completed her bachelors degree in Speech and Language Pathology at “Kolegji Heimerer” in her hometown. During the last year of her studies, she undertook an internship in a private clinic, where after 6 months she became a full time Speech Therapist for the following  four years. During that time Bleta also started worked with a non-governmental organization in a public school project that had the goal to include more logopedic and psychological sessions in schools.      When she’s not working, she likes to cook, but she doesn’t like to take care of the clean up  after cooking.
