Staff Profile #1: Senad
Hello everyone!
As promised last week, we start the presentation of our team with one of the biggest personalities at PLAY. You can’t miss him at a height of 1.95 meters – this week it is Senad Ramani! 📣
This 26 year-old Kosovar-Bosniak has been our Sport4Youth Project Coordinator for two years now. That means he recruits, trains and coordinates activities and seminars with the youth volunteers of our Sport4Youth project.
As you can see in his second picture he is always ready to have fun! And, as his sense of humor does not stop him from being professional, between two jokes we asked him what he likes about his job:
“I like working with young people from different communities, especially seeing their development as volunteers from the recruitment to the ceremony of certificates. I also love seeing them doing an extraordinary job on the field in their localities. Being from a minority community, it means a lot that my job enables me to turn my life experience into a useful project. It’s rewarding to be able to take the lead in the areas of tolerance, diversity and the fight against discrimination. Finally, my job offered me the opportunity to travel in Kosovo and the EU.”
Fun fact to go: When he was younger, his parents were supposed to come to watch him play in his handball team for an important match. When they arrived, only 10 minutes after the beginning of the match, Senad had already been sent off! 😂
We all love Senad at PLAY! Help us show him our appreciation of his work by liking this post!
