Born and raised in Prishtina, the vibrant capital of Kosovo,
Vesa is nearing the culmination of her studies in Management, Business, and
Economics with a specialization in Banking, Finance, and Insurance. Her
academic journey reached an exciting milestone during her final year when she
participated in the Erasmus+ program in Germany, an experience that
significantly enhanced both her professional and personal growth.
Alongside her studies, Vesa has gained valuable experience
as a content writer and an accounting intern, which has further honed her
skills and fueled her passion for the financial sector. Currently, she is
expanding her horizons as a Project Assistant Intern at PLAY, which will allow
her to explore different roles of pedagogical development and project
coordination to further diversify her skill set.
In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with
family and friends, going out, reading, and experimenting with new recipes in
the kitchen.
When we asked her what she likes about working here in
PLAY, she answerd: “What I like most about my current position as a
Project Assistant Intern at PLAY is the opportunity to gain new experiences and
learn from a supportive and helpful team. The positive energy and vibe in the
office also contribute to a motivating and enjoyable work environment.”
We asked Vesa about her favorite thing in Kosovo, which
she answered: “My favorite thing about Kosovo is definitely the people
and the atmosphere. After spending time away from home, I have come to truly
appreciate the warmth and friendliness of my fellow locals. Prishtina, in
particular, has a vibrant energy and an exciting atmosphere—there’s always
something to do, and the city never feels boring. The sense of community and
the lively environment make it a unique and special place.”
And of course we didn’t forget about our “one fun fact
about you”, which Vesa without hesitation answered: “I used to be a
singer when I was very young, performing songs for children and also
participating in various children’s music festivals.”
